Use the MCSRVSTAT REST API and v3-compatible JSON responses to integrate server checks into your own website or application.
The API communicates directly with Minecraft servers using Java Server List Ping, Query and Bedrock RakNet. The website presents the returned information and does not require an account to check a server.
Results are cached briefly to reduce repeated traffic. A status check describes what the API can reach at that moment; it is not a guarantee of uptime or your in-game connection quality.
Enter a hostname or IP address, optionally followed by a port. Select Bedrock for Bedrock servers; otherwise Java is used. Default ports are 25565 for Java and 19132 for Bedrock.
The address or port may be incorrect, the server may be down, or a firewall may block status traffic. Java status uses TCP; Bedrock and Query use UDP.
Servers decide which player names to return. Some send a limited sample, hide the list, or use it for informational text. Query may provide additional player information when enabled.
Latency is measured from the API host to the Minecraft server. Your connection may differ based on your location and network.
No. Checking a public server requires only its address. The tools do not ask for your Minecraft account password.
